Spanish Club - Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m.
With the onset of COVID-19 and state Shelter-in-Place orders the Church of the Joyful Healer took to worshiping through an online platform like so many other churches and places of worship had to do. By doing so we have had the opportunity to share the word of God with those around the world- specifically in Ecuador.
Over the last couple of months we have been able to add virtual Spanish lessons before our worship service Sunday mornings. This "Spanish Club" is led by teacher and Joyful Healer extended member in Ecuador, Rocio Torres. Maestra Rocio teaches at the Lethbridge International School in Quito, Ecuador. Children and Youth Ministries
Joyworks "JoyWorks" is the name we at the Church of the Joyful Healer have given to our celebration service Sunday School Program - interactive fun for children preschool age and up. JoyWorks has taken on many iterations over the years, and now that we are meeting in person, a new design for Children in Worship has appeared. We love the voices of little children and invite Children of all ages to participate in worship with their families. Each Sunday, during our virtual worship, the Children and young at heart are invited to participate through a special message just for them. During our in-person worship, we offer a special Children's moment followed by the option to play at our new children's area inside the Sanctuary. This way children can play, in parallel, while still enjoying the rest of service, and their grown ups can participate fully in worship as well. This will be our form of worship for the remainder of Summer. At the start of the new school year, Joyworks may once again be re-imagined. |
Youth Group
The Youth Group meets generally on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month during the school year for service activities, fun activities, and theological/philosophical discussions. Upcoming Calendar of Activities: |

music ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through song, encourage believers in their walk with Christ, lead the congregation in worship and provide an avenue through which individual may share their gift and be an integral part of the worship. All are welcome to join the Music Team - Rehearsals are on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.
