Tony Giraud- Spiritual Leader/Outreach Coordinator Tony has lived in McKinleyville for the past 19 years. He and his wife Jeny have been married for 22 years and have three daughters, Bella, Gracie, and Gabby. They also have two dogs, Kalli and Ace, and two cats, Buster & Posey. Tony first started attending the Joyful Healer after getting sober in 2011 and has been involved in many different areas of ministries, leadership and service positions. Some of his favorite memories include recommitting to his baptism with Pastor Steve Lundin, going on 7 mission trips to build houses in Mexico with Amor Ministries, and singing on the worship team each Sunday. He says "God has changed my life in so many ways and I am so grateful to be a part of this incredible faith community." In February 2021, Tony was hired part time as the Outreach Coordinator for the Joyful Healer, working Thursday, Friday & Saturdays. His primary role is to build relationships with the unhoused community and help facilitate them getting connected to services through County agencies and several nonprofits. His long term goal is to secure enough grant funding to allow for him to work in this position full time.
Kieran James - Worship Sound My name is Kieran and I am very excited to be joining everyone on my new path here at the Joyful Healer. Since the pandemic, I haven't been able to work much as an audio technician but now I am excited to start a new journey here with you. My work experience ranges anywhere from community theater to full scale production audio, yet I am happy to be diving into the world of Worship Sound. I am also very excited to be working with Linda and the rest of the worship team was we continue to build our amazing music program. We have lots of amazing technology in the space and I’m happy to be able to use the gear to its full potential. Thank you so much for the opportunity to become a part of this congregation and I hope to meet every one of you as we grow in community together!
